Kamau is Aberdella’s oldest son. He grew up with the name Perry but later changed it to take the African name Kamau. His father is Russell Carter. He married Janice Green daughter of Thomas and Marion Green.

He has three children: one son with Lucille Washington and two daughters with his wife Janice.

Shaunte is the son of Kamau & Lucille Washington. He lives in Florence, S.C. and has two children Samiya and Kamuri.

Aliya is the oldest daughter of Kamau & Janice. She lives in Pennslyvania and has identical twin daughters Mya & Nyla.

Ayanna is the youngest daughter of Kamau & Janice. She lives in Philadelphia, PA. She works for Apple.

Kenny is Aberdella’s third son. He married Veronica Collick and they have four children.

Kwame is Kenny’s oldest son.


1994 –
Kambui is Kenny’s second son.


1996 –
Kagina is Kenny’s daughter.


1997 –
Kwasi is Kenny’s youngest son.

Joseph, Jr known also as Jojo is Aberdella’s fourth son. He has four children.

Kwabena is the oldest son of Joseph. He lives in California.
